Architects Plan Ahead

The business of architecture requires careful planning before design even begins. It is important to work with clients to determine the ideal date of desired occupancy, whether it is late summer prior to the first day of school, or to accommodate a lease expiration, or simply getting a shovel in the ground before the first frost.  Other factors such as site plan approvals and variance requests can add a month or more to the permit application process.  Geographic areas affected by major hurricanes may be backlogged in the approval process just because a township lacks the manpower to review the onslaught of applications and hearings.   Townships are revisiting their stormwater management best practices and requirements, keeping the professionals constantly on their toes to stay current.   Having experienced professionals  will be paramount to helping their clients  schedule in check.
