Cape to Colonial Conversion Continues…
This simple cape cod style home is currently under construction. While the preexisting structure was well constructed, this young family desired an open floor plan where they can enjoy family time together, as well as a space to entertain friends and family.
Interior walls have been removed and replaced with beams and built in columns and cabinets to give the space both character and openness. The family room has a nine foot coffered ceiling with transom and double hung windows and french sliders around the perimeter, allowing multiple exposures and plenty of sunlight throughout the day.
The second floor addition provides this family with a whole new Master Suite, two baths, three bedrooms, and an upper family alcove–a perfect spot for a comfy sofa and story time before settling in for bed.
